Barrels & Bottles brewed 224 BBL of beer in 2017. In May, the brewery hired Greg Moore as its new head brewer. Imperial Peanut Butter & Chocolate Stout and Dry Hopped Saison— and added many new beers to the menu as well. The Comb-Over Kolsch is one of the most popular new beers on tap.

Moore also introduced the Meal Replacement Series, which included the sessionable Lunch Break IPA and the Breakfast Coffee Brown Ale that was brewed with Pangea coffee roasted down the street in downtown Golden. He’ll soon debut an Old Ale in this series.
