Although we may not be returning as Good Word Brewing & Public House (for now), we will be reopening our doors on April 1st for to-go pick up/curbside orders from a safe distance. While we wish that we can continue to operate as a Public House, where you can sit, chat, and enjoy the company of friends and strangers, we are reopening our doors with an adapted vision.
Our mission from the beginning was to server our community and we plan to remain true to that to the end. We appreciate your suggestions and have given much thought to many of them.
We will be open Wednesday through Sunday from 4 to 8pm for to-go food orders and from noon to 4 pm for craft beer to-go. You can check out our take out menu and call us at (404) 973-2077 to order ahead. We are also offering gift cards as well.
We will have to move our soup kitchen to Sundays only, serving you from 11am to 3pm and we’ll be donating anything leftover to Meals by Grace. This has been something that we’re extremely passionate about and want to continue to do in the midst of all that’s happening. We’ve felt very supported about this, having had so many individuals reach out to us about volunteering.
If you’re looking for additional ways to help, please consider donating to The Giving Kitchen, an organization that aids restaurant workers when they are in need, or giving to our GoFundMe, which will directly support our hourly staff while we are not able to fully reopen our doors.
