GOLDEN, CO — Barrels & Bottles Brewery in downtown Golden was just named the 2014 Golden Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year. This longstanding recognition is dedicated annually to a for-profit member of the Golden Chamber of Commerce that has contributed to both the local economy and to regional activities in exceptional ways.
“Barrels & Bottles has already established themselves in the Golden community,” says the Chamber’s Member Services Director Jayne Byl about the less than two-year-old brewpub. “In a couple of quick, crazy years they have contributed to the community by honoring others with fundraising opportunities, as well as participating in street fairs and several other City of Golden events.”
Barrels & Bottles regularly supports Chamber of Commerce functions like the Taste of Golden, the Fine Arts Festival, the Golden Chili Cook-off & Beer Festival, First Friday events, and the Golden Ladies Only Sample Tour, among other events and organizations. Zach and Abby George are also members of the Chamber’s Young Professionals Group.
