Rockyard Brewing was honored to take home the gold medal in the German-Style Pilsner category from the 2018 World Beer Cup®. Primadonna Pilsner was one of 176 entries into this category.
Clean, crisp, dry, old school. The Primadonna Pilsner is brewed with German-malted Pilsner and German-grown hops. A win in this traditional German-style category is “great validation” says Rockyard manager of brewery operations Zac Rissmiller. “We’ve won two gold medals in the last two years at GABF®, a Silver at the 2016 WBC®, and now a Gold this World Beer Cup. To say, it’s emotional would be an absolute understatement.”
