Fresh fruit ale, Blueberry Blonde, from Lone Tree Brewing Company now available in Colorado and Kansas
LONE TREE, CO— Blueberry Blonde joins Lone Tree Brewing Company’s canned beer lineup this week to be distributed in Colorado and Kansas. This new beer is also available on tap at the brewery.
From peaches to strawberries and a variety of other fresh additions, Lone Tree’s brewing team loves to experiment with fruit. At 5.2% ABV, this ultra-refreshing thirst-quencher has the aroma of freshly picked blueberries and a subtle sweetness on the finish.
“We are excited to share the latest evolution of our beers with consumers, and Blueberry Blonde is another great example of elevating a traditional style with a subtle addition of fruit to create a fun, easy-drinking beer,” says Lone Tree Sales & Marketing Director Dennis Stack.
Blueberry Blonde is now available on draft and in kegs, as well as canned 12oz. 6-packs. The beer joins Lone Tree’s year-round beer lineup that also includes the award-winning Peach Pale and Mexican Lager, as well as Red Ale, IPA, and Double IPA.

Lone Tree Brewing Summer Seasonal Hazy IPA Hits Shelves
Just in time for National #BeerRunDay and July 4th weekend, Lone Tree Brewing Company’s summer seasonal Hazy IPA is now available in Colorado and Kansas.
LONE TREE, CO— Just in time for National #BeerRunDay and July 4th weekend, Lone Tree Brewing Company’s summer seasonal Hazy IPA is now available in Colorado and Kansas. This IPA recipe features a new Brewers Supply Group hop blend called HS-Zamba™.
HS-Zamba™ is the first proprietary release in the BSG Hop Solutions Program. This hop
blend is named for the overwhelming tropical dance explosion its aroma evokes. Accordingly, Lone Tree Hazy IPA yields pineapple, mango, stone fruit, and tangerine notes. This medium-bodied, subtly hazy, and juicy IPA weighs in at 6 percent ABV.
“After many test batches leading into this release, Hazy IPA was our opportunity to try this new hop blend from BSG,” says Lone Tree Sales & Marketing Director Dennis Stack. “We like to experiment with fresh ingredients when we release seasonal beers, and HS-Zamba™ was the perfect complement to balance out this beer’s bright grain bill.”
Hazy IPA is now available across Colorado and in select locations in Kansas in canned 12 oz. 6-packs. Hop lovers can also find this beer on draft in Lone Tree’s tasting room later in July.

Lone Tree Brewing Company Publishes 2020 Production Numbers; Looks Forward to 10th Anniversary
In 2020, Lone Tree Brewing produced 4,001 barrels of beer, more than half of which was packaged into 868,266 cans.
LONE TREE, CO— Lone Tree Brewing Company kicks off 2021 with a diversified year-round can lineup and excitement looking forward to the company’s 10-year anniversary. Here is the brewery’s 2020 Year in Review.
In 2020, Lone Tree Brewing produced 4,001 barrels of beer, more than half of which was packaged into 868,266 cans. The brewery’s award-winning Mexican Lager comprised a quarter of Lone Tree’s overall volume, while seasonal styles made up another 30 percent of the brewery’s total production.
In spring of 2020, Lone Tree debuted the Strawberry Kiwi Blonde Ale as a seasonal offering; however it was so popular that by fall it had joined the lineup of year-round packaged beers distributed across Colorado and in Kansas.
Also in spring, Lone Tree introduced its first-ever year-round IPA. After a couple of seasons of consumer feedback, Lone Tree announced its relaunch with a refreshed recipe in November.
Lone Tree Brewing celebrated the City of Lone Tree’s 25th anniversary in the summer, re-releasing the fan-favorite Mountain Mama German-Style Helles Lager recipe in limited distribution cans to commemorate the occasion.
Lone Tree’s cult-followed, award-winning Hop Zombie Imperial Red Ale crept back for its annual one-day-only release in the fall. This beer sold out by 4pm.
Lone Tree Brewing celebrated nine years in business in winter with an anniversary beer package featuring nine speciality beers made for the occasion. These nine-packs sold out by 2:30pm.
Looking forward to 2021, Lone Tree is developing seasonal recipes for warmer months and gearing up to celebrate a decade in business in Lone Tree and Colorado’s beer community this December.
“While 2020 was a very challenging year, we see great opportunity in 2021,” says Lone Tree Founder John Winter. “We increased our overall barrelage last year, and we’re starting the new year with even more production increases. We see continued growth both in our canned products and keg sales. All of this makes us upbeat for the New Year ahead!”

Lone Tree Brewing Relaunches IPA
Lone Tree IPA, the latest year-round beer from Lone Tree Brewing, has a refreshed recipe.
LONE TREE, CO— In spring of 2020 Lone Tree Brewing introduced its first-ever year-round IPA. After a couple of seasons of consumer feedback, Lone Tree announces its relaunch with a refreshed recipe and nomenclature.
Lone Tree IPA features a blend of Citra, Cascade, and Simcoe hop additions that create bold citrus aromas, moderate hop bitterness that’s been toned down from the first recipe, and a crisp finish.
“We wanted to create a West Coast-inspired IPA with just as much bold malt character as it boasted with hops,” says Lone Tree Brewing Sales & Marketing Director Dennis Stack. “Since the original release of this beer in spring, we’ve been taking feedback from our customers and tweaking accordingly. We’ve backed off on the use of high alpha hops to reduce bitterness, and we find this refreshed recipe to be just that: much more easy-drinking.”
While the can design won’t change much, the beer name will. “We wanted to show that this new recipe is our flagship IPA, aptly named Lone Tree IPA,” Stack adds.
Stock the fridge with this highly drinkable India Pale Ale, now available across Colorado and in select locations in Kansas in canned 12 oz. 6-packs. Hop lovers can also find this beer on draft year-round in Lone Tree’s tasting room.

Lone Tree Brewing Company Unveils Fall Seasonals
Fall beer releases from Lone Tree Brewing provide a subtle twist on familiar flavors for the season.
LONE TREE, CO— Lone Tree Brewing Company welcomes back seasonal favorites for the cooler weather ahead. Pumpkin Ale, Pilsner and Cranberry Saison will be available on draft and in cans later this month. Vanilla Caramel Amber, an autumnal beer that first made its debut two years ago, will also be ready for beer drinkers just in time for Labor Day festivities, and Festbier, a traditional Oktoberfest festival beer will delight taste buds on September 14.
“Our lineup of fall beer releases provide a subtle twist on familiar flavors for the season,” says Dennis Stack, director of sales and marketing at Lone Tree Brewing Company. “These beers, which are meant to be shared across the table with friends and family, are excellent pairings for fall favorites like pumpkin pie and pot roast”
At 6.4 percent ABV, Pumpkin Ale hits all the right notes for pumpkin beer lovers with 23 pounds of real pumpkin added per barrel as well as allspice, vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon. Pumpkin Brew will be available mid-August.
Coming out of Lone Tree’s Branching Out series of small-batch, specialty beers and hitting cans for the first time, Cranberry Saison is a Belgian-style farmhouse ale that was aged with fresh cranberry puree. Effervescent and slightly tart, this deceivingly drinkable 8.5 percent ABV beer is perfect for sipping, long past the dog days of summer and into autumn at the Thanksgiving table. Cranberry Saison will be available at the end of August.
A classic through and through, Lone Tree’s Pilsner has a bright, golden appearance and finishes with a dry and fruity hop note. At 5.8 percent ABV, German-style Pilsner will also be available at the end of August.
“Vanilla Caramel is a fan favorite that will be available for fall and winter,” says Stack. “You’ll still enjoy this amber as we transition from the warmer weather that can be typical of Colorado but the sweet vanilla notes will provide an inviting comfort for cooler nights ahead.”
Originally developed on John Winter's homebrew system, Vanilla Caramel Amber is a 6 percent ABV gem created with crystal malt and Madagascar vanilla beans. The caramel notes in Vanilla Caramel Amber come from a large amount of Crystal 60 malt in the grain bill— no other caramel or other sugar is added to this beer. The base beer is a traditional American Amber with a good helping of hops to balance out the sweetness of the vanilla. Vanilla Caramel Amber will be available in canned 6-packs and on draft starting on Labor Day.
Lone Tree will be tapping Festbier, a full bodied traditional golden Oktoberfest lager that is crisp and refreshing. This highly drinkable 6.3 percent ABV beer will be available on September 14 in conjunction with Lone Tree’s annual Oktoberfest and Market featuring over 16 local vendors, live polka music and a stein hoisting contest.
Lone Tree Brewing’s fall seasonals will be available on draft and in 6-packs at Lone Tree’s taproom, as well as within the brewery’s distribution footprint.

ABOUT CANCERBLOWS
In 2013 43-year-old Dallas Symphony Orchestra trumpeter Ryan Anthony was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a terminal bone marrow cancer that typically appears in patients aged 70 and older. Ryan’s musical community rallied around him and when they offered support, he jokingly replied that “we’ll all play a concert when I am healthy again and we’ll call it 'Cancer Blows'”. Ryan is now in remission, and the joke morphed into The Ryan Anthony Foundation, who in 2015 put on CancerBlows, a once-in-a-lifetime musical event bringing together the most famous trumpet players in the world.
