Ska Brewing Returns To Utah
Ska has continued to innovate and push the boundaries of craft beer at home, and in recent years Utah’s laws have changed— all allowing the brewery to bring much more of its portfolio over the state line.
DURANGO, CO— Ska Brewing has returned to distribution in The Beehive State through a partnership with M&M Distribution, making Utah the eleventh state where Ska beers are available. Utahns and visitors can now find Ska beers on draft and in 12 oz. 6-packs in Tooele, Salt Lake, Wasatch, Utah, Davis, and Summit counties.
In 2022 in a long overdue move, Ska entered into Wyoming for distribution to share its liquid with like-minded, outdoor-centric neighbors. In that same spirit, Ska now returns to Utah.
Some of Ska’s best-selling beers, such as the 5% ABV Raspberry Blonde, were previously unavailable in Utah due to laws limiting the ABV in grocery stores, restaurants, and bars. Ska has continued to innovate and push the boundaries of craft beer at home, and in recent years Utah’s laws have changed— all allowing the brewery to bring much more of its portfolio over the state line.
“We’ve heard from a lot of folks that they’re no strangers to making the pilgrimage across the border to procure our beers to take back to Utah,” says Ska Brewing Co-Founder and CEO Dave Thibodeau. “We couldn’t be more thrilled about these legislative changes and cannot wait to once again share our flagships along with some of the new beers we’ve created just across the border.”

Ska Brewing Launches Distribution In Wyoming
Ska Brewing beers are now available across Wyoming.
DURANGO, CO— Ska Brewing and Western Distributing Company announced a new distribution partnership this week, with plans to kickoff sales in this new territory at events in Casper on Thursday and Friday. Residents and visitors in the Cowboy State can now find Ska beer on tap and in cans from Laramie to Casper to Jackson and beyond.
After 27 years and now as one of Colorado’s five largest craft breweries, Ska is quite frankly flabbergasted that they haven’t poured proper beers for their neighbors in the north until now.
“Sharing the border with Wyoming, we travel there often for our outdoor pursuits— and it was starting to get weird not offering our beer there,” says Ska Brewing Co-Founder and CEO Dave Thibodeau. “After making the connection with Western Distributing a while back, this expansion of our reach out West feels like a long time coming.”
Meet Ska Brewing’s beers and some of its characters at these kickoff events:
Thursday, October 13, 2022
4-6pm: Ska tastings at Discount Liquor, Mesa Liquor and 2nd St. Liquor and Wine
7pm: Featured Ska taps at Gaslight Social during the Bumpin Uglies show

Ska Distributing Expands Beverage Offerings to Include Spirits, CBD Seltzer, and Cider
Peach Street Distillers, Oh Hi Beverages, and Fenceline Ciders join Ska Distributing network in Southwest Colorado.
DURANGO, CO— Ska Brewing’s distribution arm is expanding its beverage offerings beyond beer to include spirits from Peach Street Distillers, CBD seltzers from Oh Hi Beverages, and ciders from Fenceline Ciders. These new additions to the portfolio will be available across Southwestern Colorado.
Launched in 2005 by Ska Brewing co-founders Bill Graham and Dave Thibodeau, Ska’s sister distillery Peach Street Distillers will now offer an array of its bottles through Ska Distributing, including Goat Vodka, Jackelope Gin, Smoked Rye Whisky, American Single Malt Whisky, Amaro, Fruit Brandy, Barrel aged Gin, and Colorado Straight Bourbon in all its forms (Barrel Strength, 5 Year, 10 Year and Colorado Straight). "To say the stoke is high is an understatement,” says Peach Street Founder and Ska Brewing Founder Bill Graham to be able to sell and deliver our own goods to my own backyard with the guys I've worked with for years?!? Of course we are going to do this and do it in the best way."
Co-founded in 2019 by Ska Brewing co-owner Matt Vincent and the owners of Durango Organics, Oh Hi Beverages is a Durango-based cannabis drinks company that crafts THC and CBD seltzers. Ska Distributors will distribute Oh Hi’s CBD seltzer line, which includes Pomegranate, Ginger Basil Limeade, Lemon Lime, and Grapefruit flavors. The cans are available as 12 oz. 4-packs. “We are really excited to partner with Ska Distributors to bring our CBD line of beverages to Southwest Colorado,” says Vincent, who also founded Ska Fabricating in 2012. “It's a great relationship that shares the synergy of all the families it represents. CBD Seltzers are a new category and we are very excited to introduce it to SW Colorado and have Ska Distributing as our partner in doing this."
Founded by Sam Perry and Neal Wight in 2018 in Mancos, Colorado, Fenceline Ciders works with historic orchards to produce its ciders, which include the canned Seedling and Catkin Hopped ciders available now through Ska Distributing as 12-oz. 4-packs. “I am very excited to be working with Ska Brewing and I don't think Fenceline Cider could have found a better partner,” says Sam Perry who co-owns Fenceline. “Ska’s work ethic, commitment to quality, and mold-breaking attitude are all in line with Fenceline's core values. Ska's knowledge of the regional craft beverage market will be a huge asset to Fenceline as we grow. It's an honor to be a part of their distribution lineup.”
Ska Brewing is also pleased to report the coming addition of wine to its distribution portfolio, and will announce details in coming months.

Ska Brewing Reallocates Distribution Markets, Exits Texas
Brewing near capacity coupled with the challenges of operating a brewery in a remote location led to Ska’s decision to reallocate its markets.
DURANGO, CO— Ska Brewing has ceased beer sales in the great state of Texas, refining its distribution footprint to twelve states. This change will allow the brewery to focus more on its local, regional markets.
Ska might be the largest brewery in the Four Corners; however the Durango-born company still produces a relatively small amount of beer— approximately 34,000 BBL annually. Brewing near capacity coupled with the challenges of operating a brewery in a remote location led to Ska’s decision to reallocate its markets.
“Crafting beer in the mountains makes for some big logistical challenges, and unfortunately Texas has been tough,” Ska Brewing Co-Founder and CEO Dave Thibodeau says. “Quite frankly if we ever want to enter this market again we are going to have to allocate more resources and brew and sell a lot more beer.”
Ska Brewing maintains a great relationship with its Texas distribution company Ben E. Keith Beverages, and is proud to welcome a legion of Texas-based guests to its Durango World Headquarters all year long.
Ska Brewing beers are currently available across Colorado, Arizona, Southern California, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, and Utah.
