Lone Tree Brewing Debuts Peach Wheat Ale
As the market craves more and more fruit, Lone Tree Brewing Co. is excited to debut a fresh recipe that pays homage to one of their first-ever recipes.
COLORADO– Lone Tree Brewing Peach Wheat Ale is now available in cans and on draft across Colorado. This refreshing fruit beer is replacing Lone Tree’s flagship Peach Pale Ale in their year-round portfolio.
In a continued effort to provide a well-rounded lineup of beer styles, the brewing team at Lone Tree has always loved to experiment with fruit— and demonstrated their prowess on fruit additions with multiple awards for the beloved Peach Pale Ale. As the market craves more and more fruit, they are excited to debut a fresh recipe that still pays homage to one of their first-ever recipes.
The new Peach Wheat is a fresh take on a classic American Wheat Ale with generous additions of real peaches. Bold hop flavors of tropical fruit, candied peaches, and apricot complement the finest pale malts and soft wheat backdrop to craft this hand-picked ale. It pours with a soft orange haze and a medium body, approachable bitterness, and a stone fruit finish.
“The end of Peach Pale is truly the end of an era, but we welcome the fresh, fruit-forward flavors of this new wheat ale,” says Lone Tree Director of Brewhouse Operations Jerry Siote. “We feel the most successful breweries balance the importance of tradition with willingness to experiment and adapt to customer preference. The Peach Pale was an important part of our growth over the years that taught us how to balance real fruit flavor with the goal of creating a “beer-first” brand. Working closely with Hopsteiner showed us we can highlight Alora™ hops in the new Peach Wheat for their flavor notes of peach, yuzu fruit, sweet melon, and apricot.”
Peach Wheat is now available on draft and in 6-packs to to-go at both Lone Tree locations. Find it on draft and in cans at retailers and venues across the Centennial State.

Goat Patch Brewing Releases First Canned West Coast IPA
Goat Patch West Coast IPA will be available in six-packs and on tap through springtime, all while supplies last.
COLORADO— Goat Patch Brewing Company is excited to add breadth to its IPA portfolio with its first-ever West Coast IPA in a can. Goat Patch West Coast IPA is now available across Colorado.
Long known for their popular Hazy IPA, Goat Patch Brewing is proud to present this new IPA on tap and in canned 6-packs at all three brewery locations, and in kegs and cans at bars, restaurants, and retailers in Colorado Springs, Monument, and the surrounding area.
This foray into clear, canned IPA is a refreshingly dry and intensely hoppy IPA brewed with a trifecta of classic Pacific Northwest hops: Mosaic, Citra, and Simcoe. It weighs in at 6.7% ABV with 58 IBUs. This West Coast IPA was popular on tap before the Goat Patch brewing team decided to package it.
“We brewed this with a super dry grain bill, a Pilsner base to really showcase the hops,” says Co-Owner and Director of Production Operations Darren Baze. “It tasted great brewed on our pilot system, and we’re excited to release this beer on a larger scale.”

Riverbend Malt House Publishes 2025 Year In Review
Riverbend Malt House exemplified its Malt With A Mission ethos in 2025 with strong relationships across the supply chain, research and development on innovative products, and continued commitment to their environmental initiatives.
Director of Sales Shawn Waggoner and Co-Founder Brent Manning
ASHEVILLE, NC— Riverbend Malt House exemplified its Malt With A Mission ethos in 2025 with strong relationships across the supply chain, research and development on innovative products, and continued commitment to their environmental initiatives.
Here is the Riverbend Malt House 2025 Year In Review:
Production & Team
Last year, Riverbend produced nearly 4 million pounds of malt. In October, Riverbend’s production crew filled the GKV with the malt house’s 1000th batch.
The malt house installed a hammer mill to achieve a finer, distiller's crush on malt.
2025 marked Riverbend’s fourth consecutive year of zero injuries or incidents.
The growing team at Riverbend now includes Customer Success Representative Tina Hoffert, who comes to the malt house after years of professional brewing experience. She is now one of 14 Riverbend employees.
Malt Innovation
After becoming the world’s first Certified Regenified™ malt house in 2024, Riverbend produced the first certified malt this year. Fullsteam Brewery became the first-ever certified brewery in the Regenified program this year, crafting two beers in their Reset series with Regenified Southern Select malt.
Riverbend introduced Honey Malt, Crystal 20, and Crystal 50 malts to its portfolio last year. The production team also refreshed Speakeasy Distillers Malt with the new Vivar barley variety, which is negative for glycosidic nitrile and high in enzymatic activity— making it the perfect choice for distillers exploring export to the EU and Canada.
As Avalon 2-Row barley acreage continues to expand, Riverbend is purchasing this varietal from four states and incorporating it into its Cumberland Pilsner malt style. “This is exciting news, as this represents a big step forward for regionally-adapted varieties,” says Riverbend Malt House Co-Founder Brent Manning.
Local Farmers and Customers
In 2025, Riverbend sourced grain from family-owned farms across the Southeast region, including North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Florida, and Virginia— all within 500 miles of the malthouse.
Riverbend sold malt to more than 300 breweries and distilleries in 2025.
Because most brewhouses are fueled by coffee and not nut rolls, Riverbend partnered up with Asheville’s Coffee Library last year to give their pallet orders a boost. Now customers who order full pallets get a custom coffee blend selected by the Riverbend and Coffee Library teams.
Many of Riverbend’s customers were recognized with prestigious quality awards, including medals at the Great American Beer Festival, the North Carolina Brewers Cup, the South Carolina Brewers Cup, and the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Events & Community
Riverbend was thrilled to bring its annual celebration of Southern Lager to the malt house in 2025. Riverbend customers are invited to serve their expressions of Southern Lager at this event again slated for May 1-2, this year with added technical and sensory training before the beer celebration.
Last year, the malt house made a donation to BeLoved Asheville for each of the annual customer surveys they received.
Throughout 2025, breweries across the Southeast collaborated on fundraiser beers made with Riverbend malt for causes they cared about. The team at Riverbend was delighted to support at brew days and with malt donations for beers crafted to support hurricane relief efforts, Veterans, and regenerative agriculture. Read about them here.
Environmental Stewardship
2025 was a year of incremental improvements in malthouse efficiency, with carbon emissions per pound falling by 0.1 percent. The rootlet recycling program recorded more than 190,000 pounds of material diverted from landfills, approximately 2,000 more than 2024. Riverbend’s polywoven recycling program also marked increases in overall volume.
Media inquiring about Riverbend Malt House’s achievements in 2025 or plans for 2026 can contact Emily Hutto at hutto@radcraftbeer.com.
ABOUT RIVERBEND MALT HOUSE
Riverbend Malt House is on a quest to connect Southeastern family owned farms and fermenters. Co-Founders Brent Manning and Brian Simpson launched Riverbend, the first craft malthouse east of the Mississippi River, in Asheville, North Carolina in 2010. Buoyed by a 70,000 foot production facility and state of the art equipment, Riverbend Malt House helps breweries and distilleries large, small, and in-between stand out with flavor, locality, and community in an increasingly competitive landscape— all the while challenging the status quo of corporate, big-agriculture malt. Hannah Uhlmann presenting the 2025 Malt Cup awards
NATIONAL— The Craft Maltsters Guild will present the winners of the 2026 Malt Cup awards at a virtual ceremony on Thursday, February 26.
Now in its eighth year, the Malt Cup competition is the only internationally recognized competition for the craft malting industry. Malt entries are evaluated by industry experts through a rigorous multi-round judging process spearheaded and managed by Hannah Uhlmann, Director of the Barley, Malt & Brewing Lab at Montana State University.
The 2026 Malt Cup Competition is the largest yet, with eight categories that now welcome collaboration malts crafted by more than one maltster. “We want to see what this community can do when they all get together,” says Craft Maltsters Guild Executive Director Steve Kurowski. “Last year we also saw great success with our Unique Malt category, which is for those standout malts that embody the spirit of craft malting but don't fit into the Malt Cup's current style lineup. These categories and this competition in general showcase the teamwork and craftsmanship in every corner of our community.”
Uhlmann will announce the winners of the Caramel Malt, Light Munich, Pilsen, Pale Malt, Vienna, and Wheat Malt, Unique Malt, and Distillers Malt in this ceremony, as well as the Best In Show malt entry based on overall scoring.

Lone Tree Brewing Emphasizes Team, Quality, and Longstanding Partnerships In 2025 Year In Review
Here is the 2025 Lone Tree Brewing Company Year In Review.
LONE TREE, CO— On the heels of their 14th anniversary celebration, Lone Tree Brewing continues to prioritize beer quality in 2026. Its leaders attribute this emphasis, as well as their hard working team and longstanding partners, to their ongoing success.
Here is the 2025 Lone Tree Brewing Company Year In Review.
Beer In Review
Among Lone Tree’s 2025 specialty can releases were the popular springtime SKU, Honey Lager; as well as a Hazy IPA, Oktoberfest and Chocolate & Pistachio Stout. Some noteworthy draft beers were also crafted for Stout Month in February, and in collaboration with Public Offering Brewing.
Also in 2025, Lone Tree revamped their flagship IPA recipe. Read more about this process and roll out in Craft Beer & Brewing Magazine’s Brewing Industry Guide.
Hop Zombie, the decorated and cult-followed Imperial Red IPA, made a Summer Solstice appearance at Lone Tree Brewing Parker before creeping back to the taps for the thirteenth Hop Zombie Day in October. As always, it was greeted with a line out the door awaiting its arrival– and it didn’t last long.
Production
In 2025, Lone Tree’s brewing team produced 3,727 barrels of beer brewed with 270,572 pounds of barley, wheat, oats, rice, corn combined and 4,741 pounds of hops along with various advanced hop oil products. They filled 427,008 12oz. cans.
Recipe development and refinement for the Lone Tree IPA increased hop additions by almost 25 percent last year, and a 17 percent increase for the Double IPA, to create the most robust, fully-saturated hoppy beers. Blueberry Blonde fruit puree additions increased by almost 60 percent to achieve a truly fruit-forward Blonde. The brewhouse has also been transitioning the Peach Pale Ale into the new and improved Peach Wheat Ale, with a targeted release date of late February 2026.
Throughout the year, the brewery recaptured 215,000 gallons of water. Their reused pallet wraps saved 450 pounds of plastic wrap from landfills.
Team
A few of Lone Tree’s time-honored employees shifted roles in 2025. Candace Peterson was promoted to Director of Tasting Rooms, Dennis O’Harrow (previous Head Brewer for six years) decided to step into the role of Lead Brewer, and Dale Hollars was promoted to Head Brewer after 6 years with Lone Tree. Improving upon many years of successful recipe formulation and brewing proficiency takes considerable discipline, and Lone Tree’s brewhouse staff is always up to the task.
In total, the brewery now has 22 employees. “We’re extremely proud of the hardworking individuals that make this not only a successful business, but a place we’re happy to wake up for every morning,” says Jerry Siote, Director of Brewhouse Operations.
Sales & Distribution
Lone Tree sold their packaged beers across Colorado in 2025 via their longstanding partnership with Western Distributing. Throughout the course of the year in Colorado distribution, Mexican Lager, Red Ale and Blueberry Blonde comprised 70 percent of the total volumes sold across Lone Tree’s packaged portfolio. 13 percent of these sales were in the Denver Metro area, while more than 36 percent of sales were realized from towns and cities in the Lone Tree area heading south to Colorado Springs .
Community and Events
Lone Tree donated upwards of $22,000 to their nonprofit partners last year. These contributions included $10,000 for the Bridge Transition Program at the brewery’s annual car show. Other recipients of their philanthropic efforts included Special Olympics, Adams Camp, 2Blondes All Breed Rescue, 7 Sisters, and the Colorado State Firefighters Foundation.
Towards the end of 2025, Lone Tree’s brew crew crafted the Polar Plunge Cold IPA in conjunction with the City of Lone Tree’s Police Department. A portion of the Cold IPA sales will be donated to the annual Special Olympics fundraiser taking place in April 2026.
Lone Tree rounded out 2025 by celebrating 14 years in business! Owners John Winter and Jerry Siote are proud of this accomplishment amid tumultuous times, and committed to crafting high quality beer and supporting their high quality people for years to come.
Moving Forward
A leader in the Colorado beer industry and beyond, Lone Tree continues to hone their brewing craft as a top priority– even in another year of NA and cannabis drinks. Siote told SevenFifty Daily that brewing beer continues to be the bedrock and default mission of Lone Tree for their 2026 beer industry predictions piece.
Lone Tree Brewing has exciting milestones on the horizon. Parker locals and visitors can plan on the second anniversary of Lone Tree Brewing Parker location on Saturday, February 28. Summer Solstice Hop Zombie and the classic Hop Zombie will creep back on tap in June and October, respectively. And finally, the brewery will celebrate its silver anniversary in December.

Modern Hops Meet Classic Style: Ska Brewing West Coast IPA Is Here
Ska Brewing debuted West Coast IPA over Super Bowl weekend , and now you can find it year-round on draft and in cans across Colorado, Arizona, Kansas, New Mexico, and Utah.
DURANGO, CO— Starting this week on shelves across the nation, Ska Brewing makes its bold return to West Coast IPA. Ska West Coast IPA is a modernized version of this classic American beer style, crafted with a plethora of contemporary hops.
Ska debuted this beer over Super Bowl weekend at its World Headquarters in Durango, and now you can find it year-round on draft and in cans across Colorado, Arizona, Kansas, New Mexico, and Utah.
Ska Brewing is home to Colorado’s OG IPA in a can, Modus Hoperandi, which was classic old-school West Coast IPA: super dank aromas, huge bitterness, and amber in color with a full body. Ska West Coast IPA follows the present-day versions which are light and crisp, have moderate hop bitterness, and super piney and citrus aromas.
“Ska West Coast IPA uses a blend of modern hop varietals that weren’t even available two decades ago; and, even more importantly, modern hop products which are focused on providing a huge punch of citrus and pine character without the grassy, vegetal notes found in older versions of this style,” says Ska Brewing Production Manager Chris Kurr.
Ska’s new West Coast IPA is brewed with Cryo Mosaic, Cryo Citra, Alora, Eureka, CGX Idaho 7, and Strata Hyperboost, an amalgam of hops that pack a dank punch with citrus, peach and stone fruit notes. An incredibly smooth finish, approachable IBUs, and a bumpin’ can design round out this year-round offering.
Media inquiring about Ska’s latest IPA can contact Emily Hutto at hutto@radcraftbeer.com.
ABOUT SKA BREWING
Founded in the spirit of punk rock and a little bit of ska, Ska Brewing has been challenging the status quo and brewing beers that refuse to conform since 1995. DENVER, CO— Bruz Beers, crafter of Badass Belgian Beers and international beer tour guides, will debut its new short film Let’s Get Lost on January 15 at its original location. This documentary-style production follows Ryan Evans on a sensory beer journey through Bruges, Belgium.
“Sometimes the magic of travel for me is just getting lost,” says Evans, Bruz Beers Co-Founder, who fell in love with Belgian beer while backpacking through Europe in college. This affinity for beer travel inspired the now acclaimed Bruz Beers and the annual beer tours he leads in Belgium.

Lone Tree Brewing Introduces New Canned Winter Seasonal, Chocolate & Pistachio Stout
Just in time for the first snowfall of the season, Lone Tree Brewing Chocolate & Pistachio Stout is now available in cans and on draft across Colorado for the wintertime.
COLORADO– Lone Tree Brewing is excited to introduce a new winter seasonal, Chocolate & Pistachio Stout. Just in time for the first snowfall of the season, it’s now available in cans and on draft across Colorado for the wintertime.
Like all of Lone Tree’s seasonal cans, Chocolate & Pistachio Stout began as a draft-only beer. The Lone Tree brewing team loves to experiment with Stout as a canvas for flavor combinations, and this one pleased the crowd so much it made its way to a package this year. It’s highly drinkable at just 5% ABV, yet full bodied with prominent roastiness, subtle nutiness, and notes of sweet chocolate.
The brewing process consisted of carefully manipulating mash temperatures to increase mouthfeel and body while allowing the large percentage of flaked and malted oats to hold the entirety of the malt composition together,” says Lone Tree Director of Brewhouse Operations Jerry Siote. “The use of more than 25 pounds of single-origin cacao nibs from Ecuador, natural pistachio flavorings, late-kettle additions of lactose, and a touch of organic vanilla led to a finished Stout with deep, rich flavors.”
Chocolate & Pistachio Stout is now available on draft and in 6-packs to to-go at both Lone Tree locations. Find it on draft and in cans at retailers and venues across Colorado this winter.

Lone Tree Brewing and Public Offering Brewing Collaborate on Wet Hop Beer: Fresh Class Ticket
Two Denver area breweries, Lone Tree Brewing and Public Offering Brewing, just debuted Fresh Class Ticket, a collaboration wet hop West Coast-style IPA. It is now on tap at both breweries’ taprooms while supplies last.
Public Offering & Lone Tree Brewing teams at Public Offering Brewing
DENVER, CO— Two Denver area breweries, Lone Tree Brewing and Public Offering Brewing, just debuted Fresh Class Ticket, a collaboration wet hop West Coast-style IPA. It is now on tap at both breweries’ taprooms while supplies last.
Fresh Class Ticket has a ripe, lightly tropical and fruity aroma, with flavors of bright red berries, strawberries, and tropical melon that finish smooth and slightly resinous with subtle bitterness.
Fresh Class Ticket was brewed with fresh kilned Root Shoot Malting Pilsner and Chit malts and Yakima Chief Fresh Wet Citra hops flown directly from Yakima Chief Hops before dry hopping with fresh cryo frozen Strata hops from Crosby Hops. The brewing teams at Lone Tree and Public Offering excitedly tracked the flight status on the flight delivering their hops, adjusting the brew time accordingly to make the freshest beer possible.
“We even fermented it cool with lager yeast to preserve all those delicate oils,” says Cody Higginbottom, Founder at Public Offering Brewing. “Expect to have your palate saturated with loads of bright, brash, ripe, fruity, leafy and resinous fresh hop flavor on a dangerously drinkable beer. A massive thank you to our agricultural partners Yakima Chief, Coleman Agriculture, Crosby Hops and Root Shoot Malting, for all the sweat, sacrifice, and logistical hoop-jumping to help us craft this super soaked, super fresh green gem.”
The brewing teams at Lone Tree Brewing and Public Offering Brewing go way back. Harvest season felt like the perfect time to collaborate on a recipe, and help Public Offering to craft their first-ever wet hop beer. “We’ve been fans of Public Offering since before they opened,” says Lone Tree Brewing Director of Tasting Rooms Michael Webster. The timing couldn’t have been better with Yakima Chief Hops’ FRESH HOP AIR landing the 2025 harvest straight to the brew deck. We couldn’t be happier to bring a taste of the Pacific Northwest backyard right here to Colorado.”

LONE TREE, CO— The fifth annual Charity Car & Bike Show benefiting The Douglas County School District Bridge Transition Program at Lone Tree Brewing is slated for Saturday, September 20. Since the start of this event in 2021, Lone Tree has raised more than $34,000 for their neighbors at The Bridge Program.
This impactful event helps raise essential funds to support young adults with disabilities, ages 18–21, as they gain skills for independent living, employment, and community engagement after graduation. The Bridge Transition Program relies on community fundraising to supplement limited school resources. Sponsorships and donations from events like this make a real difference— helping provide classroom technology, updated curricula, transportation for outings, cooking classes, and more.
This year, bidding for a fully outfitted Aprilia Tuareg 660 adventure bike will open one week prior to the event. Lone Tree has teamed up with Colorado Motorcycle Adventures (CMA) to include a fully outfitted Aprilia Tuareg 660 in the silent auction. CMA graciously coordinated with Aprilia to donate the bike, and they went a step further—partnering with SW-MOTECH, Backcountry Discovery Routes, Doubletake Mirror, and Motoz High Performance Motorcycle Tires to fully outfit it. Special thanks to these partners for helping make this incredible auction item possible.
The brewery offers free registration in advance for those who want to show off their cars and bikes in the parking lot. Inside, guests can bid on silent auction items and enjoy Lone Tree’s variety of beers on tap. All registration and silent auction proceeds will go to The Bridge Program.
“Your support helps empower these students and directly contributes to their success in adulthood,” says Lone Tree’s Director of Tasting Rooms Mike Webster, who has spearheaded this event for the past five years. “Thank you for considering a sponsorship or donation to this meaningful cause.”
